We are happy to announce the next AR15 Armorer's course is June 18 & 19, 2013. This course is designed to provide the armorer with knowledge and skills necessary to maintain the AR-15 type weapon system in areas to include nomenclature, field stripping, complete dis-assembly and assembly, cycle of operation, function inspection, cleaning, lubrication, trouble-shooting, accessory selection and installation, and use of special tools. This class is KLEC approved for 16 hours of continuing education credit for Law Enforcement Officers. The class is open to the public as well. The cost for the two day course is $325 per student. DSCTA provides everything the student needs except safety glasses. Students are asked to provide their own safety glasses.
